Troubleshooting Noise Files in Serum Presets
FT
Last Update hace un mes
Some presets use custom noise samples that need to be correctly installed for the preset to sound as intended. If you notice that noise or background textures are missing or silent, here are common causes and solutions:
Missing Noise Folder:
Serum presets that include custom noise samples require a specific Noise folder placed inside the Serum preset folder directory. Check if your preset pack includes a folder named Noise or similar and copy it alongside the preset files into:
Documents\Xfer\Serum Presets\Noise (Windows)
~/Documents/Xfer/Serum Presets/Noise (Mac)
Incorrect Folder Structure:
Ensure the Noise folder is at the correct folder level. It must sit inside the main Serum Presets directory, not nested inside other subfolders.
Rescan Serum Noise Samples:
If Serum does not automatically recognize new noise files, restarting Serum or your DAW can help.
File Format Compatibility:
Noise files should be in .wav format. Verify that your noise samples are not corrupted or in unsupported formats.
