Sample Order Appears Jumbled in Sample Manager

Issue: Samples no longer appear in the same order as they do in Finder or within their original sample pack.

Cause: Sample Manager is sorting by key, not by filename.

Solution:

• Look for the small arrow icon in the column headers.
• If the key column is highlighted, click the Name column header to sort alphabetically.
• This will restore the expected top-to-bottom order.

Note: Sorting affects randomization and navigation logic, so it may change the order that samples appear when using arrow keys or the random button.
