Download the installer for your operating system (macOS or Windows)
Once the download is complete, locate the installer in your Downloads folder
Double-click the .pkg file to launch the installer
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the standalone app and plugin formats
Drum Machine will be installed to the following locations:
Standalone App: /Applications/ADSR Drum Machine.app
VST3 Plugin: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
AU Plugin: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
AAX Plugin: /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/
After installation, open your DAW and rescan your plugin list if needed
Run the downloaded .exe installer
Follow the prompts to install the standalone version and VST3/AAX plugin formats
Default installation paths are:
Standalone App: C:\Program Files\ADSR\Drum Machine
VST3 Plugin: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
AAX Plugin: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\
After installation, open your DAW and rescan your plugin list if needed
Using Drum Machine in Standalone Mode
Open the ADSR Drum Machine application from your Applications (macOS) or Start Menu (Windows)
Click the main menu (☰) in the top bar and choose Audio and MIDI Settings
In the Audio tab, select your audio device from the Device dropdown
Optionally, configure your MIDI controller in the MIDI tab
Using Drum Machine as a Plugin in Your DAW
Open your DAW
Create a new Instrument or MIDI track
Load the ADSR Drum Machine plugin (VST3, AU, or AAX depending on your DAW)
Make sure the track is record-enabled or monitoring is turned on
Start triggering sounds or patterns with your MIDI controller or draw them into your DAW
