ADSR Sample Manager - Crashing/Unresponsive

If you're experiencing unexpected crashes, playback issues, or odd behaviuor with ADSR Sample Manager, this guide can help you get things running smoothly again.


If you see a green bell icon in the left sidebar of ADSR Sample Manager, that means an update is available.


If updating doesn’t solve the issue — or you’re already on the latest version — a clean reinstall may help clear up corrupted files or conflicting settings.


For macOS: 


  • Remove the standalone from Applications. 
  • Use Google to find where plugins are kept on macOS and remove the AU/VST/VST3/AAX as necessary 
  • Remove /Users/<their_user>/Library/Application Support/ADSR 

Also Remove: 

  • /Users/<their_user>/Library/Caches/ADSR Sample Manager 
  • /Users/<their_user>/Library/Logs/ADSR 

This should completely remove the plugin from your system. 


For PC: 


  • ADSR Sample Manager comes with an installer. Run the installer and that should remove all files.
